Police, ambulance, CFA and SES crews were called to the accident in Oak St, Golden Square just before 6:00 PM when a truck lost its load after turning from High St.

The male driver of a Holden Commodore escaped unharmed, however a woman was trapped in her Hyundai for almost 90 minutes while Bendigo SES freed her from the wreckage. She was taken to Bendigo hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
